Mat McCoy
Mat's interest in puppetry started when he used to watch his father perform Punch and Judy shows and then run around the back to watch them from there as well! During his final year at Acting School his interest in puppetry was sparked again and he wrote his graduating thesis on puppetry in Australia. Mat then went to work with Company Skylark for six years as one of it's core puppeteers.
After returning from a holiday in India which he needed another holiday to recover from, Mat began working as a casual on series one of FARSCAPE and began full time work in series two , where he began an intimate relationship with Rygel that was to last to season four and beyond.
Mat has also worked with the performance teams on almost every guest puppet on the show. From Halosians, Hungees, Scarrans,Traltix's, Pousos's and that creepy baby thing with four eyes that lived in the box, Mat has performed with them all.
